Thomas P. Brady
Biography
Tom
currently serves as the Associate Dean for the Homeland Security Training
Institute at the College of DuPage. He
has served in that position since April 1, 2013. Prior to this position, Tom served as the
Inspector in Charge of the Chicago Division with the US Postal Inspection Service
from May, 2007 until March, 2013. During
his 26 years with the US Postal Service, Tom served in various leadership roles
including, Deputy Chief Inspector, Inspector in Charge of the Chicago and
Washington DC Divisions, Assistant Inspector in Charge of the Fort Worth
Division, Team Leader in the Houston Division, and his first assignment: Postal Inspector in the Chicago Division. He has provided executive oversight for his
former agency in two significant investigations: The Amerithrax (anthrax) investigation in
Washington DC, and the former Governor Rod Blagojevich investigation in
Chicago.
Tom
obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Northeastern Illinois University
in Chicago, IL in 1981. In 2009, Tom
achieved a Master's of Science in Integrated Homeland Security Management from
Towson University in Towson, MD.
