John Myall is a security professional with extensive
training and over 25 years of experience in the US and internationally
including the military, law enforcement, and with high-risk executive
protection and operations in the private sector. His military experience
includes 10 years of worldwide operations in the British Royal Marines
Commandos where he was involved in reconnaissance missions in both covert and
overt operations. His experience also includes U.K. domestic counter-terrorism
operations, counter-guerilla operations in Central America, and as an
instructor for terrorist awareness at the Royal Navy's training center. After
leaving the Royal Marines, Mr. Myall joined the private security sector where
he has over 25 years of experience in the US, England and around the world,
eventually starting his own consulting company. His extensive private sector
experience includes personal executive protection security and operations for
high-risk, high-profile clients with global operations; corporate risk
analysis, surveys, assessments, and reduction strategies. For a Fortune 100
company, he has overseen a nationwide project involving domestic terrorism
where he provided executive protection and coordinated security planning
involving local authorities.
Currently, Mr. Myall runs his own specialty security
consultancy company, MSS, LLC which focuses on corporate risk reduction
strategies for global operations and personnel safety on overseas travel
assignments. He has traveled extensively acquiring broad expertise and experience
working in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America. He has been a
speaker and presenter at various international security conferences.
Mr. Myall holds an MSc degree in Risk, Crisis and Disaster
Management from the Scarman Centre for The Study of Public Order at the
University of Leicester, United Kingdom.
Mr. Myall is a former private pilot, speaks Spanish, and is
an avid athlete. He has been a member of
the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) since 1996.
